This program is designed for individuals who want to improve their olympic weightlifting (clean & jerk, snatch). Each workout will have strength as well as skill development portions. Programming is designed around a 3 days per week model, but there are still gains to be made if the occasional session is missed.
Growing up playing sports and wrestling in college, I had always been fit, but after college I got lazy and feel out of shape. When I moved to NH in 2014, I joined CrossFit New Hampshire and focused on having a healthier lifestyle. I enjoy weightlifting because its challenging and pushes me to be better every time I step up to the bar.
As someone who did not grow up in sport or was particularly athletic as a youth, I found both CrossFit and weightlifting to be a surprising outlet later in life. I joined a CrossFit gym in 2009 and started as a casual runner who had difficulty with any heavy or gymnastics movements. Since then, I've found that a combination of focus, perseverance, and a supportive community can exponentially increase your potential.
